The brief

Buildings consume 50% of the world's energy. This has a negative impact on the environment and accelerates climate change. The 475-strong SIGA team develops, produces and markets high-performance products that seal buildings and thus reduce energy consumption. "Zero Energy Loss Buildings" is the goal.

Every two years in September, SIGA employees from 22 countries meet for a staff event at the company's Swiss headquarters near Lucerne. The aim was to turn the SIGA vision "We strive for a world of zero energy loss buildings" into an individual gaming experience on the one hand, and on the other to make the new innovation centre in Schachen a tangible experience for the employees. Teambuilding and fun were in the foreground.

The solution and result

tabevents has developed a concept in which every step counts. "Every step counts" is therefore not only the SIGA motto in everyday working life. In this digital scavenger hunt, the distances covered by each team were measured via GPS and the teams with the most steps were rewarded with bonus points.

In addition to tricky riddles about the city, we provided an absolute highlight with the challenge "Hand's on!" at the Hotel Schweizerhof. With the available SIGA building materials, the teams had to visualize the SIGA vision "We strive for a world of zero loss energy buildings". The result was impressive. The enthusiastic SIGA employees quickly succeeded in creating original and worth seeing small works of art from the wooden elements. These were then assembled into a house in front of the new Innovation Center in Schachen. In order to enter the new innovation centre, the SIGA employees were allowed to walk through the house they had designed. It should always remind them of what they can achieve together - Every Step Counts! After this emotional moment, the teams were treated to a delicious meal accompanied by an exciting showdown where the winning team was announced.

Together with our customer, we were able to successfully realize the playful transformation of the SIGA vision and the emotional discovery of the innovation center. The SIGA employees will fondly remember this day for a long time.
